Margery Ginsberg

Dr. Margery Ginsberg is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Washington.  She is an expert in motivation, multicultural education, high-poverty schools, and instructionally-focused school transformation.  As a consultant, Dr. Ginsberg inspires educators with her strategies for creating classrooms where motivation is high and students thrive.  She has consulted with school systems across the United States and in Germany and in Japan.

Dr. Ginsberg has written several books, including Creating Highly Motivating Classrooms for All Students and Motivation Matters: A Workbook for School Change.

She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
