Dr. Marilyn Page is an expert in constructivism, a teaching approach that emphasizes focusing on the learner instead of the subject.  She is currently Technology Coordinator for the Social Studies Teacher Education Programs at Pennsylvania State University.  As the Technology Coordinator and as an educational consultant, Dr. Page consults on novice teacher issues, reform, social studies education, and technology in education.

Dr. Page has had a great deal of experience in education at all levels and in rural, suburban, and urban school systems.  She is the co-author of Creating and Sustaining the Constructivist Classroom.  She received her Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership, Secondary Teacher Education, and Educational Media and Instructional Technology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
